During today’s city adventure

I was extremely excited to find this little allotment in a neighbourhood I seldom visit in Tainan City. As usual, people found me interested in their plants and were friendly to invite me to come in. This allotment has very simple layout but with good maintenance, and two traditional water pumps outside the entrance gate add its interests. What I always like to see in urban allotment, apart from its chaotic creativity from ordinary people, is the nurturing of community spirit while people share their harvest with others and exchange their experience on growing plants. Aren’t these qualities all human nature, creative, sharing, and greenery-loving, and the urban allotments provide the ground for these qualities to thrive?
