It was not an easy walk. The 540m ascent made my knees hurt now and probably for the coming few days as well. But you do see the world differently when you walk with different people. This is my third time visiting Castleton, and I still found corners I’ve never noticed, especially the lovely brook. For this simple reason, I’ll keep walking regardless the soreness it might bring.
